The Ford's power scope mirrors offer a telescoping feature, which simply means that you can extend the mirrors farther away from your vehicle for better vision around a trailer. This can be achieved by keeping the vehicle either in running mode or accessory mode, then pressing and holding the left arrow of the mirror controls, located on the driver-side window sill. Equally, you can pull the mirrors back by pressing and holding the right arrow.
Another beneficial feature these mirrors offer is the ability to fold. With your vehicle running or in accessory mode, just press and release the power fold button on the lower left corner of the driver-side door panel's mirror controls; your mirrors will automatically fold into the vehicle. Unfolding the mirrors is equally effortless — just press and release the button again.
An unexpected yet valuable aspect is that these mirrors can be resynced if they shake or vibrate while adjusting them or while driving. To do so, press the power fold button to fold your mirrors in. You'll hear a click sound, the confirmation that your mirrors have been reset. If not, you can just repeat the process until you hear the click.
