The installation required specific modifications to accommodate the new powertrain while preserving the classic aesthetic of the Woody.
The Ford Coyote Power Module offers a robust 440 horsepower, making it a powerful upgrade for the 1941 Ford Woody. The package includes essential components such as a cold air intake, though modifications are necessary to fit specific installations. For this project, a Vintage Air front runner was added to incorporate air conditioning, enhancing comfort without compromising performance. The alternator was repositioned using a Power Master alternator due to clearance issues with the front crossmember. Custom solutions were employed throughout, including a recessed firewall to improve airflow and heat management, and a remote battery setup for optimal space utilization. The engine is supported by Roadster Shop motor mounts and features Patriot truck headers for efficient exhaust flow.
